Keyword proximity refers to the distance in space, as measured in within the phrases and the keywords which include the keywords with contextual relevance and without repetition. Keyword proximity measures the closeness between two or more keywords. The closer the keywords are good.

By searching in your favorite search engine, you can see the results of keyword proximity. You will find that the difference between your keyword search and the same search using stop words like and, in, we, and your Website address or company name are different, if you target a keyword phrase.

You should ignore ‘stop words’ or ‘filler words’ between the important keywords.
